The 2020-2021 was our 60th anniversary season. As it was subject to the
COVID whirlwind reality, we prepared for all conceivable scenarios that included award-winning, renowned artists and preeminent alumni joining the UVYSO in memorable events and sessions.
In October 2020 world-renowned violinist Leila Josefowicz (https://www.leilajosefowicz.com/) and Professor Robert Lipsett of the Colburn School of Music spoke with UVYSO on zoom. We hope she will perform the Violin Concerto by James Newton Howard with UVYSO in the future. Hearing Ms. Josefowicz and her teacher speak about violin and music made a tremendous impact on us.
